Jammu 17 SEP.:On the occasion of the birth anniversary of Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi, a blood donation camp was organised at Gajansoo (Marh) under the leadership of Former Minister and Senior BJP Leader Sukhnandan Choudhary. The programme was organised as part of the ‘Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan’, with the objective of promoting the spirit of selfless service, social responsibility and humanitarian welfare among the people.
A large number of party workers, youth, local residents and volunteers participated in the camp with enthusiasm and voluntarily came forward to donate blood. The initiative witnessed active participation from people belonging to different sections of society, reflecting the spirit of community service and collective responsibility.
Speaking on the occasion Sukhnandan Choudhary said that the birth anniversary of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi is being observed through various programmes dedicated to public service and social welfare. He said that blood donation is one of the noblest forms of service, as a single donation can become a valuable support for a person undergoing medical treatment or facing a critical health emergency.
Choudhary emphasised the importance of encouraging the younger generation to participate in humanitarian activities and develop a strong sense of social responsibility. He said that initiatives under the ‘Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan’ provide an opportunity to translate the spirit of service into meaningful action for the welfare of society.
Choudhary appreciated the blood donors for their valuable contribution and expressed gratitude to all the volunteers, organisers, medical personnel and local residents who extended their cooperation towards the successful conduct of the camp.
Choudhary also appealed to eligible citizens to come forward and donate blood regularly, wherever medically suitable, so that adequate blood remains available for patients in need.
The organisers stated that the programme was aimed not only at collecting blood but also at creating greater awareness about the importance of voluntary blood donation. They highlighted that regular voluntary blood donation can play an important role in supporting hospitals and blood banks during emergencies and for patients requiring transfusions.
The camp also provided an opportunity for party workers and members of the local community to come together for a common humanitarian cause. The enthusiastic participation of the people at Gajansoo demonstrated the importance of collective efforts in strengthening social welfare initiatives at the grassroots level.
