Initiative Held Under Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan in Jammu District
Jammu, September 29: Former Minister and senior BJP leader Sukhnandan Choudhary distributed 550 school uniforms among students of Classes 11 and 12 in various Higher Secondary Schools of the Marh Assembly constituency under the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, organized in connection with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday.
Students of Five Schools Benefit
The uniforms were distributed among students of Government Higher Secondary School Marh, Gajansoo, Ghoumanasa, Jhiri and Phlain. The initiative was aimed at supporting students and encouraging them to continue their education with confidence, dignity and dedication.
Speaking on the occasion, Sukhnandan Choudhary said that the Prime Minister’s birthday provides an opportunity to undertake activities dedicated to public service and welfare. He said that the spirit of service and social responsibility should remain an important part of public life, particularly with regard to children, youth and education.
Emphasis on Education and Discipline
Choudhary said students are an important part of the nation’s future and society has a collective responsibility to provide young people with a supportive educational environment. He urged students to take their studies seriously, maintain discipline, set clear goals and make full use of the opportunities available to them.
He also interacted with students and teachers and sought feedback about issues being faced by educational institutions. He stressed the importance of proper educational facilities and a positive academic environment.
Service as a Continuous Commitment
Speaking about the Sewa Sankalp Abhiyan, Choudhary said service should not remain limited to a particular day or occasion but should be a continuous commitment towards society. He highlighted education, healthcare, youth development and assistance to people in need as areas where community-oriented initiatives can contribute to grassroots development.
He said supporting students and promoting education is an important way of contributing to the future of society.
